Located in the heart of Europe, Switzerland is strategically located from the point of view ofcommercial exchanges with the countries of the European Union and is positioned as an international financial centerwith excellent reputation.
This confederation made up of 26 autonomous cantons enjoys a prosperous and attractive economy thatallows entrepreneurs to enjoy many advantages thanks to a flexible tax policy based on thediscretion (confidentiality and anonymity: two strengths of this jurisdiction) with the aim of optimizing
maximizing the benefits of society.
As it is not considered a tax haven by the OECD, Switzerland allows entrepreneurs to create their societyand develop its activity enjoying a serious image and an excellent worldwide notoriety.
SOCIETY CREATION
The most frequently used companies are the Société Anonyme (SA) and the Société à ResponsabilitéLimitée (SARL).
• There are no limitations regarding the number of shareholders. A single shareholder can besufficient and can also be an employee of the company. However, it is mandatory that thecompany has at least one director resident in Switzerland (We can put you in touchwith resident directors, if necessary).
• Minimum mandatory capital that must be paid up at the time of the creation of the company:
CHF 100,000.00.- for the SA and CHF 20,000.00.- for the SARL
TAXATION
Being "outside of Europe", Switzerland is not obliged to comply with the decisions of the Eurozone in the areasfiscal and financial.
However, to nurture relationships with its international partners and avoid being blacklisted,Switzerland has implemented a new model of tax convention.
• Every company created in Switzerland pays a tax or duty on the profits that can vary infunction of the Canton in which it was created and its activity.
• In the same way, Swiss companies are obliged to keep the accounts and to present theAnnual statement.
• Discretion: Shareholders who create a SARL are not anonymous and their identity is recorded in the
local registry. In some cases, we can propose solutions to preserve your anonymity(Contact Us). Shareholders who create an SA can opt for the bearer share system and
thus not appear in the Mercantile Registry.
